Who is responsible
RegAlign Limited, Jersey company number 165263, is responsible for personal information used for its corporate enquiries and business relationships. Our registered and postal address is 9 Bond Street, St Helier, Jersey JE2 3NP. Contact hello@regalignplatform.com about this notice or your personal information. This notice concerns our corporate website and enquiries. Separate product and engagement privacy information applies where you use a product or receive a service.
Contacting us
When you email us, we receive the contact details, message and attachments you send. We use necessary information to consider and respond to your enquiry, assess whether we can assist and manage a relationship where one develops. Please avoid confidential client records or sensitive personal information in an initial enquiry. Providing enquiry information is voluntary, but we may be unable to respond without enough information.
For enquiries from representatives of organisations, our basis is our legitimate interest in responding to requested business communications and managing those relationships, balanced against your rights and reasonable expectations. This does not authorise unrelated promotional use. Where you personally request steps towards a contract with you, or are personally a party to a contract, we use the contractual basis only for processing necessary for those steps or that contract. Where a specific legal obligation requires processing, we rely on that obligation for the relevant information.
Our enquiry mailbox is provided by IONOS. We use Microsoft Outlook on iPhone to access and handle correspondence. Account information also synchronises to Microsoft servers as part of the mobile Outlook service. Access to correspondence is limited to those who need it for the relevant company purpose.
Using the website
The portfolio navigator uses the words you enter to suggest relevant starting points. Its routing runs in your browser and does not decide your eligibility for a service. Optional speech recognition uses your browser or device service, which may process audio remotely. You can type instead. Those providers' privacy information explains their processing.
We use Lovable to build and host the website. Delivering and securing it involves technical request information including IP address, requested URL, user agent, response status and timing. Visitor analytics is disabled, and Lovable states that published sites do not collect visitor analytics events or use session recording when that feature is off. Technical cookies identified by Lovable include __cf_bm for bot management and _dpl / __dpl for deployment routing. Our optional Lovable page-error reporting hooks are disabled in production.
Our purpose in processing technical information is to deliver a reliable website, prevent abuse and diagnose failures. Where we determine that processing, our basis is our legitimate interest in operating and protecting the website, balanced against visitors' rights. Providers also describe processing for their own service purposes in their privacy policies.
Recipients and overseas processing
IONOS, Microsoft and Lovable provide the email, application and hosting services described above. Their service providers may also process information for those services. Browser or device providers may receive audio if you choose speech recognition. Other recipients arise only where necessary for a specific relationship or legal requirement and must be explained when relevant.
Our email and website providers can process information outside Jersey. IONOS provides contractual UK/EEA processing arrangements for the enquiry mailbox; its named Mail Basic service providers include organisations in Germany. Microsoft describes international processing, including in the United States, in its Privacy Statement. Lovable's Business service includes a Data Processing Agreement for information it processes on our instructions. Its terms separately describe its own service and log-data processing. Lovable identifies Lovable Labs Incorporated in the United States as the importer for processing under that agreement. Its international-transfer terms provide for applicable adequacy decisions or safeguards, including standard data-protection clauses for the transfers specified in the agreement. The relevant arrangement depends on the provider and processing involved; contact us for details or a copy of the relevant safeguards.
Retention
We keep enquiry correspondence while needed to answer and resolve the request and necessary follow-up. If a relationship develops, resulting records follow the applicable relationship, contract or accounting record class. Identifiable information is retained afterwards only while a specific legal, dispute, security or evidential purpose requires it. Legal holds suspend disposal. Retention is assessed against whether the information remains necessary for those purposes. Information no longer needed is minimised, deleted or anonymised.
Provider operational logs and recovery copies have separate retention and deletion arrangements. Lovable has not published a retention period for its website request logs. Deleting an active record does not necessarily erase recovery copies immediately.
Your rights
Depending on the processing and applicable conditions, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability; object to processing based on legitimate interests; and withdraw consent where consent is the basis. Contact hello@regalignplatform.com. These rights are subject to the conditions and exceptions in Jersey data-protection law.
You may complain to the Jersey Office of the Information Commissioner. Its website is jerseyoic.org and telephone number is +44 (0)1534 716530. The navigator is an orientation aid and does not make decisions about you with legal or similarly significant effects.
